This picture may look like nothing, but it is sending an unconscious message that in order to be beautiful you have to sacrifice eating. Beauty is different for all cultures (despite the alarming rate of the eurocentric beauty). No matter if you are 500 or 120. No magazine, tv, person can not make you feel as beautiful as you can make yourself feel beautiful. To exist is beautiful in itself and no one should forget that.

If you find yourself relying on a book or tv or person to tell you, you are beautiful. You’re looking in the wrong place. That comes within and it’s a striving battle against society.

So if you see messages like this in magazines or on tumblr or somewhere else, rip it up, cross it out, say something about it. Don’t let it fester for others and yourself.
